Cocotal Resort is a new development from the Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts (a Spanish based Hotel Chain in the Dominican Republic.) This community consists of a 27 hole golf course designed by 6 time Spanish Champion golfer Jose "Pepe" Gancedo -and selected homes built around the course.
The complex was designed by renowned Spanish architect Alvaro Sanz Canadas, who is responsible for many of chain's developments, as well as many other resorts' designs around the world.
